Teaming with the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI), the Home Inspection Academy has developed the premier Home Inspector 120 Hour Pre-license Course for Florida home inspectors. The course emphasizes Florida-unique conditions, techniques, materials and features to present the only fully comprehensive training for Florida home inspectors. Presented by FABI Registered Professional Inspectors (RPI) and accompanied by thousands of photographs from actual inspections, this training is simply the best available.

If you have been in Brevard County for any length of time, you have likely seen Jon Tremper quoted in Florida Today, the Home Town News, or and seen him speaking on Ch 2 and Ch 9 TV News Stories on topics related to the home inspection industry.

You may have attended one of his Real Estate Investment Seminars or attended one of his presentations at the Rotary Club, the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, Mortgage Bankers Association, Melbourne Area Association of Realtors (MAAR), Space Coast Association of Realtors (SCAR) or perhaps an office presentation at a local Real Estate Office.

As founder and Director of The Home Inspection Academy, Jon Tremper has trained hundreds of students to know and understand the Florida Home Inspection business. He is also founder and owner of Tepee Inspections, Inc., and has been providing quality inspection services in Florida since 1988. Having personally conducted almost 10,000 inspections, Jon Tremper is constantly being referred by former clients and attorneys as well as real estate and building industry professionals.

Jon Tremper has been a member (RPI #057) of the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI), for over 20 years. While serving on FABI's Board of Directors from 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, he was responsible for the updating and revising of the Standards of Practice. He also authored new sections on inspecting Pools and Spas, and Docks and Seawalls. These standards served as the basis for the State of Florida licensed home inspector Standards of Practice.

Jon has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from two Florida Universities. He holds Florida licensed Home Inspector #332. He is also an avid investor in local real estate and rental property manager.

Having successfully dealt with every aspect of building contracting from pool building to roofing, Jon Tremper has attained the in-depth knowledge of the local real estate market and construction industry and effortlessly transitions to the role of instructor. His Power Point presentations include thousands of current photos of uniquely local inspections that are informative and easy to understand.
