Instructor Qualifications

If you have been in Brevard County for any length of time, you have likely seen Jon Tremper quoted in Florida Today, the Home Town News, or and seen him speaking on Ch 2 and Ch 9 TV News Stories about Real Estate Properties.

You may have attended one of his Real Estate Investment Seminars or attended one of his talks at the Rotary Club, the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, Mortgage Bankers Association, Melbourne Area Association of Realtors (MAAR), Space Coast Association of Realtors (SCAR) or perhaps an office presentation at one of the larger local Realty Offices. 

As founder and Director of The Home Inspection Academy, Jon Tremper has trained hundreds of students to know and understand the Florida Home Inspection business.  He is also founder and owner of Tepee Inspections, Inc., and has been providing quality inspection services in Florida since 1988.   Having personally conducted almost 10,000 inspections, Mr. Tremper is constantly being referred by former clients and attorneys as well as real estate and building industry professionals.

Mr. Tremper has been a member of the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI), from its beginning.  While serving on FABI's Board of Directors from 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, he has been responsible for the updating and revising of the Standards of Practice.  He also authored new sections on inspecting Pools and Spas, and Docks and Seawalls.

Jon has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from two Florida Universities.  He is also an avid investor in local real estate and rental property manager.

Having successfully dealt with every aspect of building contracting from pool building to roofing, Jon Tremper has attained the in-depth knowledge of the local real estate market and construction industry.
